Digital X-rays play a vital role in detecting oral health issues early—often before you experience symptoms. Using state-of-the-art imaging, we can capture detailed intraoral (inside the mouth) and extraoral (outside the mouth) views that help us identify concerns such as cavities, gum disease, bone loss, and infections with exceptional accuracy.

These images allow your dentist to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including small cavities between teeth, decay beneath existing fillings, jawbone changes, unerupted or impacted teeth, cysts, tumors, and abscesses. Digital X-rays also guide treatment planning by helping us evaluate your candidacy for procedures like dental implants and by monitoring healing after bone grafts or root canal therapy.

Dental lasers allow us to treat a variety of concerns quickly and comfortably, often with little to no discomfort. Common uses for laser therapy include laser bacterial reduction, cold sore treatment, and relief from fever blisters.

CBCT (Cone-beam Computed Tomography) is used when regular dental or facial X-rays cannot see the details of your mouth, face, and head. Dr. Bath will use this technology to produce 3D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bones in one single scan.

With CBCT, an X-ray beam in the shape of a cone is moved around your face to produce many images. CBCT produces exceptionally high-quality images so Dr. Bath can see everything very clearly. CBCT is used to evaluate diseases of the jaw, dentition, and bony structures of the face, nasal cavity, and sinuses. CBCT puts out less radiation exposure than a traditional CT scan.

iTero™ Intraoral Scanner: Most dental offices take impressions the old-fashioned way, which can be time-consuming and messy. The iTero™ scanner has a wand that’s gently moved around your mouth to capture brilliant three-dimensional images of your teeth and gums.

Dr. Bath uses the images captured by the iTero™ scanner to create 3D models for various procedures. The iTero™ scanner has many benefits over traditional impression materials, including more accuracy, comfort, and efficiency. With this revolutionary scanner, our patients no longer have to worry about the discomfort and gagging associated with traditional impressions.
