At our Olympia dental practice, we believe modern care should be both comfortable and efficient. That’s why we continually invest in advanced technology that elevates treatment quality and enhances every visit. One of the most valuable innovations we offer is laser dentistry—an approach that allows us to address concerns quickly, gently, and with impressive precision while also supporting the preventative care that keeps your smile healthy long-term.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays play a vital role in detecting oral health issues early—often before you experience symptoms. Using state-of-the-art imaging, we can capture detailed intraoral (inside the mouth) and extraoral (outside the mouth) views that help us identify concerns such as cavities, gum disease, bone loss, and infections with exceptional accuracy.

These images allow your dentist to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including small cavities between teeth, decay beneath existing fillings, jawbone changes, unerupted or impacted teeth, cysts, tumors, and abscesses. Digital X-rays also guide treatment planning by helping us evaluate your candidacy for procedures like dental implants and by monitoring healing after bone grafts or root canal therapy.

We take digital X-rays at most new patient visits to give our team a clear picture of your oral health and to support the high-quality care you deserve. If you want a dentist who can handle both routine and complex restorative needs without unnecessary referrals, Dr. Bath and the team at Impressions Dentistry are here to help.

CEREC® Technology

CEREC® same-day crown technology allows us to design, craft, and place your restoration in a single visit. Using advanced digital imaging, we scan your tooth, create a precise ceramic crown, and complete any final adjustments right here in-house—eliminating temporary crowns and the need for multiple appointments.

CEREC® crowns offer a fast, natural-looking solution for worn, damaged, or decayed teeth, making them an essential part of modern restorative dental care. Because the entire process is completed in one day, you can return to normal eating and speaking without the delays of traditional lab-made crowns. When paired with our advanced laser technology for efficient soft- and hard-tissue treatment, CEREC® allows us to deliver high-quality, comfortable restoration work with greater convenience and precision.

Laser Dental Technology

Offering state-of-the-art technology is a priority at Impressions Dentistry, and laser treatments are a key part of that commitment. Dental lasers allow us to treat a variety of concerns quickly and comfortably, often with little to no discomfort. Common uses for laser therapy include laser bacterial reduction, cold sore treatment, and relief from fever blisters.

More Dental Technology

CBCT (Cone-beam Computed Tomography) is used when regular dental or facial X-rays cannot see the details of your mouth, face, and head. Dr. Bath will use this technology to produce 3D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bones in one single scan.

With CBCT, an X-ray beam in the shape of a cone is moved around your face to produce many images. CBCT produces exceptionally high-quality images so Dr. Bath can see everything very clearly. CBCT is used to evaluate diseases of the jaw, dentition, and bony structures of the face, nasal cavity, and sinuses. CBCT puts out less radiation exposure than a traditional CT scan.

iTero™ Intraoral Scanner: Most dental offices take impressions the old-fashioned way, which can be time-consuming and messy. The iTero™ scanner has a wand that’s gently moved around your mouth to capture brilliant three-dimensional images of your teeth and gums.

Dr. Bath uses the images captured by the iTero™ scanner to create 3D models for various procedures. The iTero™ scanner has many benefits over traditional impression materials, including more accuracy, comfort, and efficiency. With this revolutionary scanner, our patients no longer have to worry about the discomfort and gagging associated with traditional impressions. With the iTero™ scanner, we can provide more accurate treatment plans and a more efficient treatment process.
