Business Team Supervisor
Originally from Reno, NV, Cassie Johnson moved to Tacoma, WA where she was raised and received her education in sleep medicine and medical billing. Joining our practice in June 2017, Cassie loves using her skills to serve an office that prioritizes patient care. She also enjoys the aesthetic aspect of dentistry and seeing the impact quality care can have on patients.
While Cassie isn’t working, she loves being at home with her husband and their two pets – which include both a doberman and a pug. Together, the couple enjoys hiking with the dogs, trying a new restaurant, or catching a good Lakers game.
Front Desk Receptionist & Hygiene Coordinator
Carley joined our office in 2018. She loves how welcoming and helpful everyone at our office has been and how much we care for each individual patient. She works with our team to make each dental experience as enjoyable as possible, and brings a positive, upbeat attitude with her each day. Carley has four brothers and one sister, all between the ages of 12 and 27. Her hobbies include snowboarding, attending concerts and shows, painting, and socializing.
Hannah Shintaffer obtained her education from Clark College in Vancouver in 2021. At this educational institution, she attended the Running Start program and obtained an associate of arts in general studies. Joining our office in the same year, Hannah has enjoyed connecting with patients and making sure they receive the best care possible. She loves every opportunity to interact with patients and ensure they feel comfortable, respected, and cared for as they deserve.
Interesting to note, Hannah was formerly a competitive gymnast and traveled for competitions. Floor events were her favorite, and she was particularly talented in this area. When outside of work, Hannah loves to explore new places with her family and friends. This includes hiking along nature trails and visiting waterfalls with her younger cousin.
Shelley is a certified and registered dental assistant. In 1998, she graduated from South Puget Sound Community College with her Associate’s degree. Shelley has been with our team for more than two years, and often helps to implement sleep apnea treatments. She also loves working on impressions. Shelley enjoys working in an office where the doctor encourages the team to grow with the office, further their education, and supports implementing newer and better services. She loves being part of a completely supporting team. Shelley and her husband of 21 years have two daughters. Outside of the office, she loves to snow ski, fly fish, travel and spend time reading.
Nikki Bakken was born and raised in the southwest region of Washington and grew up with a love for the dental field. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, Nikki started as a dental assistant and advanced to management before directing her focus to insurance and coverage. As a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management, she is committed to her position, as she recognizes the importance of helping patients understand their benefits.
Serving as a valuable member of our practice since 2021, Nikki loves working with patients and making sure they receive everything they’re entitled to under their policies. When she is not at work, Nikki can be found spending time outdoors; she enjoys gardening, hiking, hunting, and fishing. In the winter months, she enjoys cozy days at home with her family, working on crafting projects with her husband, Eric, and daughter, Finnley. Their family also includes two dogs, two cats, and a bunny.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Cody Morrisey joined our practice in 2013 and serves as an exceptional hygienist for our valued patients. Having completed a bachelor’s degree in both chemistry and hygiene, he enjoys being able to meet new people and improve the health of those in our community. Cody enjoys his role and responsibilities, working at a practice that upholds high ethical standards and utilizes cutting-edge technology.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time outdoors. Exploring the beautiful landscape of Washington state, he takes every opportunity to spend time in nature. In addition, Cody is an avid DIY enthusiast and is always up for the challenge of a repair or build project.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Originally from Centralia, Washington, Whitney Lowry spent much of her childhood in Winlock in the southwest region of the state. After completing her associate’s in applied science in dental hygiene, Whitney joined our practice as a hygienist in 2011. She has also devoted herself to professional advancements in courses such as sleep apnea, orthodontics, and BOTOX.
Whitney enjoys her role at Impressions Dentistry working closely with a team of professionals that values patient care and a fun work environment. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family; this includes her children – Jaxsyn and Hudson, and their dog, Bailey.

Certified Dental Assistant
Missy has been with our team since February 2013. She is currently attending courses to become an Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary (EFDA). She always works hard to achieve our goals as a team and reach Dr. Bath’s vision for our practice. Missy loves what she does and is a reliable and dedicated member of our team. She enjoys the opportunity to grow in her field and work in a fun atmosphere with friends. Missy is married, with one son who is a year old and another child on the way. Her life revolves around her family, and she spends her days playing with and soaking up every minute with her son. Missy also has 2 dogs.
Certified Dental Assistant
Olivia Durr was born in August 1998 and raised in the city of Olympia, WA. Realizing her passion for making a difference in the lives of others, she completed college with an associate’s in applied science in dental assisting. She has also attended the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference and obtained continual education courses in implant basics and patient communication.
Upon joining our practice in 2020, Olivia has enjoyed her position as a dental professional and creating positive relationships with those she serves. Working in an encouraging, supportive team, she feels that she is able to make a lasting impact on patients’ health and happiness. When Olivia is not working, she can usually be found outdoors – exploring the landscape by hiking, fishing, or camping. She also enjoys time spent with her family; this includes her brother, three step-siblings, and her three-year-old golden retriever named Potato!
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Teri Smythe was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest region and completed her education at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, WA. Her credentials include both CDA (certified dental assistant) and RDA (registered dental assistant) certifications she obtained in 1985, as well as an EFDA (expanded functions dental assistant) license in 2011. Striving to continue learning and growing in her profession, she has also completed additional training courses in sleep apnea and health and wellness.
Joining our practice in 2020, Teri has enjoyed the ability to change the lives of patients and help them attain their dream smiles. With a passion for her work, she is also excited about contributing to an environment that fosters teamwork and promotes healthier smiles and happier lives. Outside the office, Teri enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family. Married for over 30 years, she has built a loving family that includes three children and two grandchildren.
