Dr. Bath is a native Washingtonian, having grown up in Richland. He is a proud Husky, graduating from the University of Washington in 1997 and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. From there, Dr. Bath worked with military veterans at the Portland VA Medical Center and worked with other offices until he purchased his very own practice, Impressions Dentistry, here in Olympia in 2006. Since then, Impressions Dentistry has earned many accolades from patients and specialists, including “Best of South Sound,” to now be regarded as one of Olympia’s top practices.
Dr. Bath is involved in many philanthropic organizations, including the Union Gospel Mission, Crime Stoppers, and the Hands-On Children Museum. Each year in September Dr. Bath and a team of volunteers host a day of FREE dentistry which has been named “Dentistry From Our Hearts.” This was designed to help provide dental care to the less fortunate in our community.
Dr. Bath is a very giving individual, his biggest passion is giving back. Since 2010 his community efforts here and abroad have resulted in over $85,000 in FREE dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Bath enjoys running, biking, watching football, and traveling. He mostly likes to spend time with his wife Param, daughter Anya, and other family and friends.
Dr. Geoffrey Johnston
Dr. Geoffrey Johnston grew up in West Olympia and went to high school at Capital High. Geoff decided to pursue dentistry when he job-shadowed his childhood dentist and was inspired by his ability to alleviate pain and build confidence by improving smiles. So, he earned his B.S in Biology with a focus in Ecology at Western Washington University and then fulfilled his lifelong dream by earning his D.D.S. at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Geoff is a very active person and enjoys spending his time in the great outdoors with his wife Niki, who is also a dentist. He loves to spend weekends camping, backpacking, kayaking, and even runs with Dr. Bath at lunch! Recently, his adventures have led him to pursue the activities of SCUBA diving and mountaineering, with successful summits off Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker last summer.
He is also a huge Mariners and Seahawks fan for as long as he can remember! Geoff is excited to be back in his hometown and to build lifelong relationships with the great people of Thurston County!
